[NTLK] Possible virus?

My apologies to all and sundry for these things.  Over the weekend I scanned
for malware (I do this weekly) and then scanned again after this happened.
Since I've found nothing, I'm not convinced it's a virus.

I don't keep any address books for any of my e-mail accounts with the
service providers or generally in the "cloud" (i.e., on Someone Else's
Computer), so I that removes another possible  and I don't even use Whats
App so I don't know what's going on with that.  I'm checking to see what
might've happened. 

OTOH, I've received a set of 8 "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)"
messages this morning, all timed between 03:36 and 03:52 and all saying that
I tried to send messages to people I've never heard of and informing me that
the e-mails couldn't be delivered.  Those also were about Whats App
messages.  


The last time something like this happened my address (when I was using a
yahoo address) was used to spam a list with porn, and because the list-dad
was technologically unsophisticated he assumed it was my own doing and
kicked me off the list, so I suppose I should be grateful (but I'm not).


I suppose someone could've spoofed my address but I'm not sure how such
thing could've been done in a way that they would know to target NewtonTalk
people.  


Anyway, sorry for the inconvenience.  I'll try to figure out what to do to
stop it.  


I bet these things wouldn't happen if Newtons ruled the world.
