Hello everyone.
The fun just never stops around here.
First the good news ...
The Proofpoint blocking issue seems to have been resolved. They are no longer blocking or delaying messages from the NewtonTalk server to mac.com, me.com, and icloud.com addresses. It seems to be sticking, but I am continually monitoring their IP lookup page.

And now, the bad news ...
It looks like Apple itself is silently filtering messages from the NewtonTalk server.
This has happened before to other unsuspecting folks:

http://dougscripts.com/itunes/2014/06/the-silent-filtering-treatment/
I have tested this by sending my mac.com email a simple message from my personal NewtonTalk account and cc'ing another address. The message never arrived at my mac.com account. Nothing was bounced back, no error message was returned, and there was no indication at all the email did not get delivered.
I have also tested this by sending a message containing the newtontalk.net domain name from one mac.com account to another. Same result.
My next step is to contact Apple and convincing them to fix this problem.
In the meantime, no NewtonTalk messages are reaching mac.com, me.com, and icloud.com addresses.
Sigh.
At some point, we'll have this all figured this out.
