Hi Marisa!

From my experience is better to setup manual IP and not using WEP. I have separate AP for Newtons with Mac address filtering only, hidden SSID, working on low power. In my opinion it is pointless to use WEP, because if someone will find your SSID it’s doesn’t matter that you have WEP or not. WEP is very easy to break, and If someone wants to do this - it is not a problem.

My setup is:

- manual IP
- no WEP, only Mac filtering on AP
- DNS: 8.8.8.8
