[NTLK] Einstein with Android Studio

Heh, the battery on my wife's iphone has swelled. She went in to the Apple Store the day before she was hopping on a plane for a trip to Alaska. They told her that she could wait in line at the genious bar and _maybe_ be seen, else, make an appointment for the weekend, or later. Unfortunately, she was on-call then, and was to hop on a plane immediately after going off call, so didn't have time. She pointed out that she was concerned with the swelling that it might actually crack the display, or worse, explode and/or catch fire, possibly on an airplane at 35,000'. By this time, she was talking to a store manager who told her, with a straight face:

"Oh, don't worry, those batteries are designed to IMPLODE should they overheat."

At least the guy stopped the conversation, because she didn't know what to say after that. She wasn't sure she should be insulted, or what. I told her I would have asked to sit down with a pencil and some paper and have him go through the physics and chemistry of exothermal reactions.

Sooo, since she's back, I'm waiting for her to be off call (and for the waiting line shortens a bit for the new phone, just in case), so I can install the iFixit battery kit I have for the thing.

So I guess we're somewhat safer with an apple product vs. samsung, but it seems to be a lot to have to put up with.
