[NTLK] eMate Battery Pack Help?

The one that I purchased was a 9.6v flat pack that was made by radioshack.
It contained 6x aa sized cells with tabs. Then I cut two cells off and
soldered to the end. I can get the exact part number as I may have saved a
receipt. It was very similar to the one below:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001BA292A/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1483472648&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=9.6v+nimh&dpPl=1&dpID=414KRdMKL2L&ref=plSrch

I cut open the wrapper, cut two end cells away and it had the thermal
protection in the right spot, soldered two wires and used electrical tape
to re cover it.

This was way easy as most was soldered already for me and the battery was
cheap for 2000mah.

Best Regards,
Elias
