Yeah, the headers were fine all along. What changed seems to be the way that certain mail servers accept the "From" address.

The setting change I made replaces the poster's address in the From: header (eg: somebody at aol.com) with the mailing list's posting address (newtontalk at newtontalk.net) and adds the poster's address to the Reply-To: header.

This "header munge" should only take place when someone posts to the list from a domain that has a DMARC reject or quarantine policy in place, such as Yahoo, AOL, or the like.
