That short clip was funny in how AT&T perceived how technology would be used...they were so far off the mark though. I mean, the very first minute showed their lack of vision....where the protagonist was asleep in bed with this wonderful tech in the Sony PIC1000 sitting on a table and yet, he uses a wind up alarm clock. It is clear that AT&T and other megalithic companies looked at technology as a window that you went to to use it instead of a ubiquitous adjunct to your every waking and sleeping moment.,If someone is so inclined, I know I have the Magic Cap software somewhere on my system. It was 3 floppy disks that you installed on your Windows system and you had a Magic Cap interface to play around with. I have not used it with Windows 7, 8 or 10...so if you want to run it, it may have to be a Windows XP on a VM.
I know I'm setting myself up for this, but I could make these disks available for download to play around with. I believe I have them ZIPped into a single file that is under 4MB in size.
Maybe I can set up a torrent.

Documentary filmmaker David Hoffman was apparently commissioned to
create a MagicLink promo.  Some of the music and feel appears to have
influenced the "What is Newton" ad campaign.
