I totally agree with you, Mark, nothing on iPad is as elegant as Newton’s notepad. It really was great software. With the iPad the accuracy is pretty good in Nebo, but adding a drawing is tedious, for example. And as you said, forget about fonts, forget about it changing your words as you write. 

I wonder if it’s worth making another push at Apple to open-source the whole Newton project. I don’t know who would maintain it, but it would be wonderful.
