Frank,
I.
Am.
In.
Awe.
I have enjoyed solving puzzles, navigating obstacles, negotiating misunderstandings, and trouble-shooting a range of mechanical objects my whole life. As such, I recognize the delightful coälescence of knowledge, method, curiosity, discipline, creativity, persistence, and adaptability when I see it. And I never get tired of seeing it.
Frank, if you had made this into a TV show or documentary, I'd watch and re-watch it for the sheer pleasure. (Noah, are you tempted even a little bit? 😎 ) I bet you could've filmed this and drawn the ifixit.com crowd.
I never would've guessed it: Lady Newt is nearly as much fun and pleasure for me during her illness as she was when she was healthy, and as she'll be again when she's back to her usual self.
Thanks for your continued work.
Shalom,
Christian

"I had to go back and transcribe all of my speech notes from my Newton, which is what I usually use for giving speeches from, because I wasn't sure I was going to be able to read it in this light, so I had to transcribe the notes onto paper. Unfortunately, my Newton is better at reading my handwriting than I am. So, there may be a pause while I try and decipher what I've written."
