[NTLK] Thinner stylus =?utf-8?Q?=3D_?=better handwriting recognition?

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that handwriting recognition improves with a thinner stylus? I’ve started using the stylus from my HP Jornada 720 (about 5-6mm thick) and find I can write more accurately and smaller compared to using the Newton stylus. The Newt one also has that strange bulbous shaping and smooth metal finish that I find hard to keep a good grip on.
