Yes, the urge to build a new Rex for Einstein triggered this project. I wanted to be able to build the entire Einstein Rex from source with native tools only. It started with a "Hey, such a tool can easily be written in three days or four..." and required the typical four days of Developer Time(tm).
Developer Time is the time that a software developer/web designer/system administrator thinks a project will take. To convert this into Human Time, multiply the value by two and choose the next higher time unit. So 4 Minutes become 8 hours, 6 days become 12 weeks, and "Oh, this will take us a month, two tops" translates to four years in Human Time after hiring three more developers.
