NTLK Beam woes

Hi Marco,

I just beamed 56 names from one mp2k to another in about 2 minutes.
There was a long period (another 2 minutes?) during which the sending
unit seemed to be preparing to beam. With 1000 items in your case, it
might take a great deal of preparation. Plug them into AC and let them
run all night as a test.

After beaming the names, the Newton offered to add the new birthdays
to my calendar (which worked!). Also beamed some notes. I was unable
to beam to a Canon portable IRDA printer at a Sears store the other day.

hope that helps,
Tom Swell

... At the worst to me is that beaming between two MP2k is unreliable
too. I
got damaged Names entries while I tried to beam my 1000+ names to my
UMP2k. Has anyone good results with beaming?
