I've had no problems using my Newt through a Linux box acting as a NAT
gateway to my dialup ISP account. I'm about to try using the NAT1000
software for Win95, but I don't forsee having any problems with that.

The only hard and fast limitation of any version of NIE is that it can
only open one connection at a time - so you couldn't download info-newt
using NetHopper and have SimpleMail download your mail in the background.
