Re: NTLK GV modem

I have 3 GlobalVillage modems here, ine says it is a TelePort 33.6K
and the other claims to be a Teleport Gold II. I connected them both
to my MP2100 and they seem to behave the same way. With "Newton
Modem" selected, I had no problems dialing up my ISP and connecting
and browsing (using NetHopper 3.2) and picking up & sending E-Mail
using Eudora Pro 1.1

I had problems sending faxes, but then I have the same problem from
my Mac with either of the modems, or a US Robotics PCMCIA in the
Newton, or a TelePort 56K V.90 on either the Mac or the Newton. (In
other words: Why send a fax if you can e-mail).

Best regards,
Chris
