While AppleTalk in it's curent incarnation is much better then past versions
it is still a "Chatty" protocol... meaning it sends packets even when it's
not actually using the network. Some say this is worth it for the usability
but I've switched all the macs i use and administrate to TCP/IP versions of
the Apple serivces... best of both worlds.
