NTLK Problem with 2x00 Rechargable battery pack

Hey Folks,

Recently, people have revived the "my MP shuts off randomly when I
use the rechargable battery pack" thread. Some have mentioned that
cleaning the metal parts on the battery with an eraser will solve the
problem, as it is a contact problem. Well, I've done this extesively
but to no avail. I think the connection problem might be inside the
u2000's battery slot, but I don't have the any problems using the
AA's in the battery cage. Are the contacts different (besides the
charging contact) and this contact real dirty? How do i clean the
leads inside the Newt? Can somebody help me? I really don't want to
keep using AA's when I have the rechargable pack.

Thanks,

Peter
