RE: NTLK Newtscape followup

Hi, Steve,

Thanks for the response, , the details of what happens where, the
comment on possible changes with "schedule immediately," and the
registration (it actually never asked me for the password anywhere in
downloading 2-y, I didn't do the test bit, out of laziness...).

I've really enjoyed getting to learn this thing, and am now really
happy to have the ability to play a bit more with a machine that keeps
getting more and more powerful.

">Hi, all, especially Steve,
">
">THANKS for the response. Even rushed, it was great. In
"reading more of
">the manual, I came across that paragraph I'd missed on autologin,
">which was great.
">
">Autologin works when I choose to open bookmarks, even a
"whole batch at
">once. But oddly enough, it doesn't work when I choose schedule
">(immediately). Don't know why that is.
"
"yep, if immediate, autoLogin is turned off; I think this
"wasn't intentional
"(I wanted to override(turn on) existing autoLogin pref when
"scheduling enabled;
"but don't want to override otherwise). I'll fix so that it
"still sees
"the 'global' autoLogin pref if set when Immediate.
"
"
">In addition, my schedule doesn't have an autolink
"preference, not that
">I can find. Am I not looking in the right place? I only have "start
">date," "Frequency," and "NIE setup" listed as choice menus, plus
">buttons for authenticate and schedule. Is there another place I need
">to look at these preferences? I can't seem to find anything under
">"i:General:Other Options" that makes sense for scheduling.
"
"it was only added in 2.0s-2 -- I had thought it was in there earlier
"(before 2.0r-2).
"so you wouldn't see it in the public eval version
"
">I hate to be so dense about this, because I'm MADLY in love with the
">package. Stupid me, here I went claiming that using the web on the
">machine was sorta dumb. WRONG!
"
">Thanks in advance for any further help that might come.
"Time to start
">looking for the credit card to pay at Kagi, this thing rocks.
"
"glad you're enjoying it
"(and thanks for the registration)
