I use rechargable AAA batteries with my Newt 100, in the standard battery
cage, but I have to charge them in a external battery charger. I don't
know if it might be possible to open up the rechargable battery pack and
replace the cells (they would be standard AAA rechargable), as I have
never seen a rechargable pack for a 100 before.
