About software for biologists: well I'm no scientist but it looks like
Tima Scientific at http://www.timasci.com/tssoft.htm has some pretty
interesting bits and pieces.
Ecological data collection, animal behaviour, and even software for the
banding and tracking of the little critters (can be used on children
with the approval of the Humane Society I have been informed by a
friend)
I've got another friend doing various birdwatching, tracking, banding
things here in the Middle East - if you use this software could you send
me your comments.
