I used to have a subscription to Absolute Sound too, until constant kvetching about subjects like this made me cancel it. While we're at it, lets talk about the Frozen Newton guys prototyping a tube version of an MP2100 (solid-state electronics! Bad! Japanese Plot! Bring back the tube!). Or how about edging our screens with Armorall? I hear, in blind tests, 7 out of 10 people claim their handwriting recognition works better. Ever hear of an RIAA curve? You think they don't compress records (and it varies from Japan to the US to Europe and from mastering facility to mastering facility)? And what are we bench marking the sound of a Stradivarius to? Your living room? For God's sake you're talking to people A/B'ing sources in their CAR!

Please stop.    Please, please, please?
