I can't translate the text of the page, but the image appears to be one of the
personally-customized Palm units, several of which appear on a page at the link further
down in the article (<http://www.powerbook.org/mobiledog/palm_museum/index.html>).
But since I can't read the text, I can't tell if the page acknowledges this or not.
