NTLK Gulliver 2

Hi all,
Gulliver2.11 is a nice program to plan trips, especially in the US. I
was 4 weeks in CA, UT, NV, AZ and NYC and used Gulliver and
OutOfthePocket (OOP) frequently during my journey. I found a nasty bug
in Gulliver which doesn't let you see nor edit some of the travel
segments. Also inserting of new travel segments into existing gaps (were
e.g. no advance planning has been made) is not reliably possible. BTW,
the 800-phone numbers of this program were all valid and helped us a
lot.

Also OOP1.5.6 allowed a nice tracking of the expenses and spendings.
However, it refused to accept another currency and entered 0 instead the
right value. And it didn't convert e.g. USD into CHF. It would be very
helpful for business travel in Europe if it would convert e.g.
automatically into or from Euro, respectively convert error-free at all.

Does anyone know something about True North Inc. and JB Parrett, the
author of G2.11 and OOP1.5.6? Are they still in business or would it be
possible to get their sourcecode?

What I've really missed in the US was my GPS and GPSmap on my Newton (I
left the GPS at home because of the lack of a suitable map). Because of
the low latitude of southern California all objects have basically no
shadows in the time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and it was sometimes not
easy to find out where to go without compass or GPS. Probably did we do
more U-turns than the average americans.
