Marco,
I found your remarks about Gulliver and OOP interesting. I've been
using the two packages for some time now and overall like what they
offer. But, I also found a bug in Gulliver.

In February I made a hasty trip to Halifax, and then over to
Vancouver. When I went to change my setting from Copenhagen to
Halifax, Gulliver froze up. I tried every thing but couldn't get it
to cooperate. Finally I settled for Saint John instead.

I wrote to the programmer and received a prompt response from Mr.
Parrett. Though I believe he said that he had changed his e-mail and
only looks at the one I wrote to occasionally. If I recall, Mr.
Parett was on a holiday at the time but nevertheless he worked for
about few days with me, trying to resolve the problem. Oddly he was
never able to reproduce the error.

This has been a major limitation to OOP. Trips may take me through
3-4 countries, or for example presently here in Lao PDR I may use in
the course of the day Kip, Baht or USA dollars. To have a programme
that could integrate all these would be a true asset. Instead I have
to first use the currency exchange utility and then take the value
and enter it into OOP.

Too bad, as it seems to me that it could have been a feature easily
implemented into the design of OOP.

By the way, I see that I am using OOP 1.5.8 and Gulliver 2.22. A bit
different form your versions.
