I've seen a few web sites where you can buy new 2, 4, 8, 16, 20, and 32 MB
linear flash cards, though the prices are outrageously high.

I picked mine up off e-bay for about the same a couple of months ago, and I
can tell you it was a breath of fresh air compared to the 2MB that I already
had. It's a yellow and black Pretec 32MB card; I'd read somewhere (it may
even have been here) that Pretec also made blue and black 32MB cards, but
these seem to be newer and don't work as well with the Newt.

Kind of pales in comparison to the hundreds of megabytes available on ATA
cards, but we takes what we can get.

I have a 32Mb card in my MP2100. I got mine from eBay for about $100. There
is probably no chance that the local computer store would have any cards
that'd work in the Newton as it requires linear flash. You most likely
would have to keep an eye on eBay, or other similiar sources, to find them.

Or, when Paul Guyot is finished his ATA driver, then you can get ATA
compactflash cards which are a lot cheaper, and use them instead.
