Okay okay I have to defend apple on this one:

Apple couldn't have marketed it. The price of production was simply too high.

You can grab NCU 1.0 (non beta) and not have to worry about the date ....

Hold of on the CE device....

Subject: [NTLK] don't want to give up my Newton

Does anyone have the answers to questions below:

1. Is there a current software package for installing packages on my newton
that works without having to set the date back to Oct.1997? I still only
have the beta version of the newton connection utilities.

2. Is there a current version of synchronizing software for Outlook 2000 and
my Newton 2100?

3. What about replacement software for NCU, NBU etc.?

4. Sources for memory cards?

I am about to go out and buy one of those CE devices and it makes me sick.

I have been a Apple fan since the early 80's and have had just about one of
every Mac built and have a bunch of old Macs still in my garage. But Apple
has some real great technology but just does not know how to market it.
