Hey a while back people were mentioning that one reason they were avoiding
cable was lack of a dialup- for Newtons or other. The RR people told me
today that actually there's a nationwide pool of #'s that I can use for
dialup PPP for free since I have a cable account with them.

I'm going to investigate and get the info set up my Newton ASAP. The web
pages are a bit of a maze now since everyone is now owned by someone else :/

Great if true (should be!)

And, I just read another article about DSL vs cable that sound reealy
