I generally do this about once a year. As a teacher, there is a natural
break.
Step 1: Export the notes you want to delete while still in their folders. I
usually use X-port to do this and I do it from the overview mode so I can go
down the list and check what I really want to save. Usually save it all
because there are no comebacks that can't be met. Disk space on a CD or Zip
is cheap.
Step 2: While still in overview mode, check all the notes in the folder.
Tap delete in the envelope icon. Confirm. Kiss the data goodbye from your
Newt.
