A rather skewed analogy, as nobody's breaking into anyone's house, and
nobody's taking anything away from anyone. It's more like you have a copy
of an out-of-print book and when someone approaches you who wants to read
it, you allow him or her to make a copy. Maybe you wouldn't, but I for
one would -- and it wouldn't trouble my conscience a bit. (As it happens,
I am the author of an out-of-print book, and while I can't speak for
McGraw-Hill, the publisher, I wouldn't care if people made as many copies
as they wished, provided they didn't make any money of it.)
