This is perfectly normal. Newton packages don't have a resource fork. That's
why you can save them on a Windozzz machine and transfer them to a Macintosh
without any problem, except sometimes for the file type and creator that get
lost. Usually, if there isn't a resource fork in a file, you don't want
ResEdit to add one, unless you know what you're doing...
