[NTLK] Chromatic Tuner Programs

Dale Chapman asks about the possibility of making a chromatic tuner on the
Newt.
AFAIK, there's no such thing on the Newt yet although there's a very
expensive piano tuner on the Pocket PC, IIRC.
There's a few shareware tuners for desktop computers. Maybe some of the
code could be ported. But chances are it'd demand a fair amoung of
processing power.
OTOH, if such a program were to be made, the most insanely great feature
would be to actually record the pitch information and encode it in MIDI
format. This would be something like a handheld version of Wildcat
Canyon's Autoscore that could be conveniently used anywhere.
