All lines count, I believe. I'm not sure if eCartis respects the "-- "
convention of sig demarcation (I hope it does, I'll ask the support list)

If you'd like to write a Perl script to plot a histogram, I'd love it! I
can send you my liststats script to start with...

Fifty lines would be plenty. 21 lines may be a bit short, depending upon
whether siggy lines count. My suggestion would be to plot a histogram or
frequency distribution of message size. That would provide a more objective
basis for drawing the pass/fail line. (OMG! Grading a discussion list on a
curve! :-) ) Assuming, of course, Listar has those stats available.
Another interesting stat would be the rejection rate of messages. Anyway,
that's all very easy for me to say since I don't have to do it...
