I just picked up Newton 2100.
It's been about 4 or 5 years since I actively used my MP120.
I know that I've always felt that the Newton UI is one of the most
elegant UI's I have ever used, but I forgot just how amazing this thing
is. Anyway ...
My purchased Newton does not have a serial adapter, but I figured I
would be able to use IrDa to at least get the wireless drivers on it (I
have an unused Lucent card from a dead airport), and then I'd be all
set. Unfortunately I'm unable to get an IR connection to work. I've
tried on a 2400c/OS 8.6 and an original iMac/OS 9.0. (I figured my
TiBook wouldn't work, and it doesn't).
Should the NCU/2.0 work in classic on OS X? (right now they don't for
me).
Any thoughts?
