Been there, done that. We have an emergency backup list on Yahoo if this
one should go down. You can sign up at "ThisOlNewt" to be automatically
activated. The reason we manage our own is that Yahoo groups have a very
restrictive list policy and we were concerned that the discussions can
get a bit heated and off-topic, so they might shut us down unannounced.
