Actually... the tricky part will be automatically finding out what the IP
address is in the first place. But I'm sure that Paul will just throw me
some NewtonScript when I need to know how to do that :)
The NPDS server automagically gets the Newton's IP address, yes: it's
displayed in the main window, eh? :) That's also what the Tracker client
uses to send the request to the tracker server (unless you override it).
Hrm, maybe I should just take apart the Tracker client source and find that
bit where it gets the IP from the server...

Cool beans!
It seems the "tricky" part might be detecting when the IP address changes
and updating the DYNDNS server.
Does NPDS Tracker already have methods for accomplishing this? If so, it
does indeed seem like a good idea to integrate the two.
NPDS Tracker is great for browsing lists of online NPDS servers, but DYNDNS
would work with NewtVNC and whatever other server-based apps should come
down the pike. Plus you could just give out the domain name of your
NPDS-enabled Newt to let anyone browse it that wanted to, without the need
to direct them first to the NPDS viewer web page.
