Eagan,

You may try some of the Mac resellers. I have had excellent service and
support from from Gary at Power Max, http://www.powermax.com. They sell new,
used, and refurbished Macs. A quick check of their site showed a used Ruby
iMac G3 400 for $549. I have no affiliation with them.
