I use a Keyspan USB serial adapter with my iBook and iMac for my MP2100 and
eMate. Both Macs are currently running system 9.0.2.
I also have an AirPort base connected to an ethernet hub. I use an ethernet
card with my MP to connect (through the hub) to the Macs by airport.
