I got a Radio Shack AC Adapter AND IT DID SMOKE MY MP2000. Probably my
problem for not having checked the current specs more closely. The one I
use now is rated at 6v 8w 400ma. I have not tried charging the newt battery
with this but it seems to run the newton and comms PC card, no problems.
