Bernie, in the very principle this is true, but since all the connections to
the Newts logic board have nothing to do with the PCMCIA slots, this might
not be the explanation.
Transferring what you say would mean to slide in and out the PCMCIA cards
from time to time in order to keep the contacts in fine condition...
