This problem is because of the crappy connection between the touchscreen
component and the mainboard. There are two flexible ribbon cables that
are attached to the touchscreen element and the mainboard, respectively,
and the connection is made by pressure only. So it is possible for
corrosion to occur since when the case is moved, these cables will move
tiny amounts every time.
