I'm using a 'bought new' MP2K in May 1997. Broke the touchscreen and LCD =
in 1999. Sent to AppleRepair, got back the same backlight. Now I use =
this Newt. for reading/replying emails while I walk my dog in 2 am-4 am =
hours. It's about one-third as bright as a minimal-use MP2K. It's great =
to walk at night and not light up the neighborhood. :-o
Wow, this backlight has been in heavy use for 5 years!
