Hello:
I run OS X.2 and have been making a few backdrop images for Avi's
Backdrop via Newton Press v1.1 in Classic mode.
I have two problems with it:
1. Claris XTND has some real problems, I can't import anything. It
reports a corrupt XTND preferences problem - but of course that's not
the real problem. Deleting prefs has no effect.
2. I've succeeded in creating books by copying/pasting images into the
book window. But to be truthful, this app crashes on the paste action
about 80% of the time. Sometimes it's just NP, sometimes it takes down
all of Classic mode. It's really annoying!
I suppose the bottom line is that someone needs to dig up the Newton
Book specs and see if we can hack up a program to make books natively in
OS X. :)
