That makes no difference. The PARC staff were well aware that improvements in
technology would bring the prices down. They were spending their time working
on ideas of how to make the computing experience personal for the user.

When you look at the difference between a system like ITS or UNIX and a system
like the Alto (or the follow-ons: Dolphin, Dorado, Dandilion and Danditiger)
the difference is clearly one of kind, not degree.
