given my complete lack of experiance and general intellegence ill take
your word for it that the backlight is j12 (it fit your description so
either way were talking about the same thing), altough theres definitly
j13 written between the connector and the battery compartment.

rubber, eh? how thick is the rubber (ie: can i sand it off)?. ill out
rubber painting ect. tomorrow with the the technology teacher since i
have a few other newton questions for him.
