I beg to differ. The market is not saturated. There is _tons_ of room in the
market for a real device. In case you haven't noticed, Palm and Visor are
really struggling, and the Palm PC has never really taken off. Bill and Co
are desperately trying to find the magic formula for the perfect device, and
Apple's got the solution with the digital hub. I don't see them releasing a
PDA, but some combi device. They most absolutely _could_ do it, and could
make a mint on it. The only question is, _will_ they do it? That is what I
doubt. I do think, however, that this is because Steve is rather a bit
closed off from reality. This is why I think that a good publicity stunt,
like all these un-sent registration cards suddenly appearing on his doorstep
at MacWorld January could really open his eyes in a way that he couldn't
avoid. If the press were there to watch it, and report on it, Steve would
have a hard time ignoring it.

Sheesh, for all we know, all the stories of Steve hating computers without
screens may be just a coverup--speculation aside. ;-)
