According to homenethelp it says that it is possible to hook up two machines
with 802.11b without a need for an access point or router using ad hoc mode:

Does that mean that I could hook up a pc card wireless adapter to the Newt
and a usb wireless adapter to my desktop and get them communicating with one
another?
