The ROM Board was definitely not loose. The contacts on the board also
seemed to be quite good. I checked that yesterday.
Maybe I triggered some kind of undocumented function by accident, pulling
the power switch and pressing the reset button simultanuously again and
again.

The backup I did before this weird crash finished completely.
