Don,

Regarding data on the go modem:

I use data on the go modem with thinphone (860), and the landline.
I was lucky- modem scripts for my isp were included in NIE (nie isp
templates package).

I have a package installed that adds to the message pad's modem
preferences choice for cell (dotgmodm.pkg).
I use 28.8 and faster choice for land line. The modem preference choice
for data-on-the-go landline was flaky.
I presume you already have the package, but just in case, I am attaching
the package. I just checked Qualcomm & keyocera web site quickly, and
did not find it. It may still there somewhere, just in a different
place. I got the package from them about a year ago. Package will get
stripped by newtontalk system. It may be at unna, called dotgmodm.pkg

Joe
