Yes they can, but you have to write an autopart do do so. There may be one
on your computer right now. If you have QuickFigure Pro or lite, it has
added a 'calculate' verb. You can write, "calculate 8+5" and tap Assist, and
it will give you an answer. The answer part is supposed to allow you to drag
and drop the answer, but it doesn't work right with OS 2.x. Hardy Macia has
also done some good work with new verbs.
