[NTLK] Calls on Newt

I was wondering in my normal stupid way, if it would be possible to use
a Newton as a phone, as, if I connect up one of the box modem thingys
to the interconnect port, it can dial, it also has a speaker and
microphone. I know these work because I record my music onto the Newton
through this. Is this possible, or just another one of my hairbrained
schemes?
