I have 2 PalmPilot that I got for free from the Lotus Note training and
Micellin tire purchase.
They are great as a address book, but I rarely use them since my new Nokia
cellphone is in sync with Lotus Note in my PC.
I had watched ebay's Newton auction for a while (a few week last winter and
a few days this summer).
A month ago, I got a luck to get the following items:
Newton 2100 Mint condition
Screen cover
Newton keyboard
Dongle
PC cable
AC Adapter
AA battery cage
Original titanium stylus
New Calise leather case
Blank PC blank cards(2)
I found it immediately after the seller put it in ebay.
I paid $195.00 USD as BuyItNow. So I didn't need to go through
mind-boggling biddings that
I have not gotten much luck. I paid extra $50.00 for Lucent wireless LAN
card.
I also won a auction for 32 mb leanear memory card for $52.00 2 weeks ago.
What I am trying to tell you is If you are patient enough, you can find a
good Newton with a relatively low
price at ebay. Good luck on finding a Newton. I am sure you are going to
love it.

I would suggest their $149 package. That way you can spend your
other fifty bucks on Paul's ATA driver
(http://www.kallisys.com/newton/ata/) to use modern flash cards. Or
you could get an SER-001 (http://mrpcbman.tripod.com/SER-001.htm).
The only downside is that you don't get a screen cover with that
package. You ought to be able to find a cheap one somewhere, though.
